February 2010

Dear Community Member,

Breffni Family Resource Centre is a modern, multi-cultural community based project, the focus of which is to provide relevant supports and services that meet the needs of the local community and thereby enhance their lives in an accessible, professional and respectful environment.

At present, we offer services and supports to all members of the family from the babies who attend our Parent and Toddler Groups, to the teenagers who are members of our Youth Café, right up to older members of our community who participate in various education and training iniatives and recreational events.

To ensure that our Family Resource Centre continues to meet the real needs of the community, you are invited to participate in a brief survey.  The purpose of the survey is:

  1. To explore and investigate the community based needs and wants of the greater Carrick-on-Shannon area
  2. To assess the level of satisfaction and quality of service provision currently provided at Breffni FRC
  3. To enable Breffni FRC to develop relevant and realistic future plans.
  4. To establish the issues or factors which may inhibit people from using Breffni FRC

Please understand that your participation is voluntary and you may withdraw at any time.  We at Breffni FRC encourage and value your honest opinion so feel free to write suggestions or comments as necessary.

This survey will remain anonymous and will be destroyed once the data has been analysed. Please do not hesitate to ask questions if there is anything you are unsure of or do not understand.  Once the survey has been completed and analysed, results will be available for viewing on our website or directly at our centre.

Thank you for your time and participation,
