Easter Camp 2013 at Breffni Youth Café Location: Breffni Youth Café, Breffni Crescent. Tues 2nd ,Wed 3rd & Thurs 4th April 2013 There will be plenty of fun activities to take part in such as Team games, Outdoor activities, Sports, Arts & Crafts and lots more. Pancake Making This week was a busy week at Breffni Youth Café and the young people spent a lot of them creating some wonderful pancakes on Tuesday as well as some delicious Valentine cakes. All of which turned out lovely.
New Sports Programme Starting 19th February Breffni Youth Café will be starting a Healthy Living Project, this project will have two elements, one of which will be looking at Eating Healthy and the second will be engaging in a range of various Sports and Activities, This programme will run for 8 week , with such sports as Rugby, Soccer, Athletics, Zumba,Hurling, Boxercise and lots lots more.
We are delighted to be working with Leitrim Sports Partnership in the delivery of this project. Cost per Group is just €1. Mock Exams We would just like to wish all those who are preparing for mock exams the best of luck. Remember that the Mock Exams are just a trial run for the real thing, and that there is loads of time remaining to get lots of study done. Believe in yourself. “Success will be within your reach only when you start reaching out for it”
Art Group Tara and the group are still busy creating some wonderful creations from recycled materials. This week the young people made some wonderful wind spinners and Bird Feeder. Check out our Facebook page for up to date photos. Art group will be changing days as and from next week and will now take place on a Wednesday from 4-5.30, if you are interested in getting involved in the group why not come up next Wednesday , group cost only €1.
Breffni Family Resource Centre, with the assistance of North Connaught Youth Services, has further developed the services and supports available to young people in Carrick-on-Shannon with the development of Breffni Youth Café.
We offer a safe place for young people to avail of Internet & Email, Play Station, Music, DJ-ing Equipment, Pool Table, Games, Books and much more! Professional Youth Workers are on-hand to offer support and information and to facilitate activities and events with the young people.New Members are always welcome to come along to Breffni Youth Café.
